I loved it being there. Food section can be improved to accommodate vegetarians. Reduce the amount of salt. It was a little too much for me. Add more variety for the dinner. The breakfast bar is amazing. I ate for two knowing I cannot eat dinner. Overall the best experience I've had being there. People are very friendly.

Not for everyone's pocket. It is expensive but excellent. Very good food. This was a special treat for my husband's birthday.

We stayed at the Admiral for 4 nights and decided to eat there the first night. The food is very good but not perfect. Wine is expensive and could be better for the price (for what we drank). Menu consists of lots of 'small plates' and 3 large plates - as this was tapas style we asked to share a... More

Ate here with family and we all found it good/average so you could place it at 3.5 stars for the price. Service very attentive and overall the price justified. We had wines by the glass and not bottle. The starters of lobster, cod and plaice good . Rib eye whilst a bit chewy acceptable.

We were staying at the Admiral Hotel and decided to visit the restaurant on the last night as the weather was bad. Ordered 3 small plates, which were Lobster, Pork and the Cauliflower dishes were all presented well and tasted as good as they looked. For main we both ordered the Rib Eye which was cooked to our liking. In... More

Overall: Satisfactory. Dress: Professional/casual. Service: Effective, efficient. Atmosphere: Moderate lighting and noise. Food: Oysters - fresh but a bit briny. Rib-eye steak - decently cooked, a bit greasy; great fries on the side. Baked waffle - a bit too much going on; the orange crunch added an unnecessary hard and sticky texture to the waffle and ice cream. Five-course tasting... More

Although everywhere in Copenhagen is pricey for the British, we decided to go to the restaurant situated in the Copenhagen Admiral hotel we were staying at (which is definitely worth a stay). I went for the SALT menu to try some of their specialties while my boyfriend chose from the a la carte menu. The whole concept of the meal... More

Dropped by as hotel guests. Hostess was very knowledgeable and friendly, giving us good and honest recommendations. Atmosphere is good but the place feels a bit cramped. Food was hit and miss for the price. The cod was excellent (came highly recommended), scallops very good (needs another scallop for a better balance). Plaice was good but what you can get... More

Ate here on our first evening at the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel (where we were staying). Excellent fresh food, beautifully presented - we had a range of 'small meals' (Denmark's answer to tapas?). Attentive, helpful, friendly service. Glad we had reserved a table as was very popular and only limited availability.

Description
SALT bar & restaurant is a modern version of the splendid Parisian brasserie. A fascinating maritime expression has become characteristic for SALT's decor.

The food at SALT is full of innovative and challenging flavors. It is modern Danish and created from a strong traditional foundation, where modern techniques are refining the confidence of habit.

Classic, recognizable taste combinations combined with the temptations of contemporary interpretations represent what we define as modern classics.
