Ristorante La Buca degli Artisti

Location and contact

Over the years, a procession of celebrities has passed through the unassuming premises on Godthabsvej without ever diminishing the homey atmosphere and excellent service that are also staples of the restaurant. The walls are decorated with portraits of artists, many of whom have visited La Buca themselves. The Lolli family took over the restaurant in 1988, and it has been run by two generations of Lollis ever since. These days, it's the son Guido who runs La Buca. The menu is strictly Italian with fx. homemade pasta, fish, antipasti and meat. A specialty is the extensive winelist. All can be seen on the webpage www.labuca.dk

Returned to La Buca after 5 years. The place felt exactly the same. As if time had stood still. The food was of the same good standard - comforting and tasty. We bought a really amazing bottle of Barolo which was the highlight of the...More

Very good service. The courses are very good, fresh products, home made. Tiramisu is delicious... And very good wines also to combine with the food. On top of that very homely

This happens to be the restaurant nearest to my home. And I have been there for a lot of times during the years. It has changed a bit over the years. But still a very good place to have an italian dinner. You can be...More

Family run Italian trattoria style. Tip top Wine cellar. Try their fegato alla veneziana if you dare or their signature rack of lamb. They don't come better this side of the alps. Not to mention the creamy Tiramisu.

I was here with a friend who has been here many times. He wanted me to try the place. I wasn't disappointed! The risotto is great - the one with four cheeses. Go for that one and if not on the menu, ask for it....More

Our party (12 persons) had a great evening Saturday. Even if we all ordered a la carte, the food was tasty, warm and served at the same time. The wines were great and the service excellent. A place, I can truly recommend. It is a...More

People who are working in there are nice and friendly but slow! Courses where not served at the right time! I liked my first fish but the main dish was very disappointing after choosing that restaurant based on the reviews.

Classic Italian restaurant with long tradition. Nice cosy feeling of a corner restaurant and a warm wellcome by the staff, even when it was my first visit. Meny continues classic italian style (and yes, no pizzas here...). All was well made and tasted really delicious....More
