I can start with omg!! This restaurant is amazing!! A small hidden place... We were lucky to have a culinary danish critic advising us to go there. We were greeted by a very nice personnel and guided through the menu by the chef himself! The food is a pure delight, it's like fireworks in your mouth. From the eggs with... More

A very good option for lunch or dinner in Copenhagen at a reasonable price. Elaborate cuisine, but not too extreme. Oysters are a very good option as starter and after that any of the dishes prepared with quality local products in a very nice dining room

Expensive yet stylish restaurant with comfortable Danish design chairs and contemporary art paintings on the wall. We had a chance to have the food served by the friendly and cheerful chef himself. The starter of Danish mussels with white beans was exceptional and you must try the cod fish. The staff is nice and experienced in presenting the food they... More

We had a wonderful experience partly because of the owners, the two chefs. Bo kept us very entertained. My husband thought he was his doppelgänger because they liked so many things the same. The food was wonderful. My husband had as an appetizer hot dogs cooked the Danish/ American way. They were great. The duck was a but tough. A... More

We went in a group of 11 people and it was an amazing experience. The entire staff is very helpful and helped us by adding tables to accommodate people arriving. The chef is an artist as he describes the dishes in a way that you can almost taste it before you even taste them.

We liked the look of the restaurant so booked and were not disappointed with the food, although it is quite expensive. The staff are very helpful and the owners make you feel very comfortable. A great family traditional atmosphere all round. Wine list is extensive and and the food is fresh and local. I had the turbot and whilst very... More

The food served at Restaurationen has its roots in the Danish tradition, but is far from being predictable. We were a couple and we opted for the "After 21.00" offer, where you can have two main courses, each accompanied by a glass of wine. You can't actually choose what you'll have, but for such a good price it's worth a... More

We had long wanted to try this restaurant and finally we ate there. Very old fashioned interior, in accordence with the "concept", nice robust chairs and tabels and a nice atmosphere. Waiters nice, some very young, but full of knowledges (of the wines and dishes ). We had a glass of champagne to start, very nice and fruity indeed, and... More

Classic top tier restaurant in Copenhagen, which some years back decided to cut down on the star chase and settle for really good and delicious food served in a relaxed and very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Had an excellent meal, fresh ingredients, serves in a very delicious manner. Only one small issues to mention (lobster bisque lacked a little taste).... More

Recently was there with my wife and another couple. We arrived around 745 so many open tables in the restaurant. Concierge in the hotel highly recommended it. Generally the food was quite nice, though a limited selection, however we were asked excessively if we were ready to order…..every few minutes by the wait staff and the head Chef. Wine list... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
