This cafe is on the grounds of the old Lille Molle windmill/national museum site, and the signage is such that it looks like the restaurant, too, ought to be called Lille Molle. We never saw the Bastioned + Loven sign. If you want to go, use Lille Molle as your destination for navigational purposes. Assuming you can find it, it's... More

Nice location in Christianshavn and perfect spot for a break to get some energy back while touring the city. Staff was very nice and helpful going around to collect dirty plates and refill dishes efficiently. The brunch buffet offers the usual that one would expect: eggs, bacon, sausages, fish, cold cuts, potato, beans, cheese, fruits. But my favorite parts were... More

The surroundings are pretty but the food and service is somewhat unstable. I've been there many times and I've never been positively surprised. Once a booking for 12 people for brunch was mislaid or forgotten. Food is average especially seen in the light of the fierce competition in Copenhagen. The staff is young and eager but not definitely not professional.

A paradise hidden in one of the Copenhagen parks where you can have a perfect brunch on a sunday. It is beautiful, peaceful, hidden in the woods. We even had some jazz musicians that came to play. Totally loved it. The brunch buffet is really good as well!

Gotta love this place. The location is beautiful, friendly staff, great service and great food. Their weekend buffet is highly recommended, and well priced. One of my favorites in Copenhagen.

What a lovely sourrounding. Very old building near Christiania and our savour church. But the serving was very very slow and the food (or afternoon tea serving) was medium quality. First we waited ½ hour for the bread and cheese? I mean, bread baked in the morning and cheese from the refrigiator? How can it take ½ hour to serve?... More

We only visited this little gem for a coffee. The original Lille Mølle (Little Mill) has been converted into an elegant restaurant with a quite garden in a park. The garden also has some excellent views of the Spire of the Church of our Saviour. The printed menu was only in Danish but the waitress described and explained the whole... More

We were a company of 20 persons and everything was ordered beforehand. The young staff was very polite and kind. The first metal was 45 minutters delayed. Therefore the wine become too warm. The size of the portions on the plates was too varying and the meat was disappointing. I will not go there again.

Went to this restaurant from a suggestion from our AirBnB host. It was quite close to our apartment. The restaurant is in an old mill on a back street and not easy to find. Talking to the waitress she mentioned that she had worked there for a year but lived in the area all her life and she had never... More

I had brunch with my husband here as I got a gift certificate as a present, but would not have gone here otherwise. The place is situated beautifully and especially in the early spring the whole scenery is outstanding. The house itself is historical which makes the atmosphere special. If the weather is nice I'd choose to sit outside. The... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
