Aristo is a very good restaurant with reasonable prices. We were impressed by the friendly waiter and the outstanding food. We had a cream soup of Jerusalem Artichoke, a Aristo Burger and the rack of lamb. All of it was outstanding. The waiter was a nice guy working all by himself. The Wine list is good and the Gin selection... More

Had a dinner in Aristo. Was impressed by meat: perfect taste. Nice location near the river (although in October didn't enjoy all the beauty of the place sitting outside). During summertime should be great. Recommend to visit.

I discovered this delightful restaurant located by the river last week in Copenhagen. The food was absolutely delicious. This is a great place to just eat and look out the window . Well done to all involved here . Top notch service too.

Great place for a good dinner. located at the quay, but in wintertime, there is not much to see :-) Despite that, it is worth the walk, superb ribeye, served by the chef himself. Also the steak tartare as starter is excellent. Fine selection of wines and draft beers.

We tried the 4 course menu + the wine menu. The food was very good. The wine menu matched the food in a good way, however it would have been nice if the waiter had explained which wine they served in particular when the pour the wine at the bar so that you don't even see the bottle. All in... More

Customer service attitude needs adjustment. Even though you are busy, one should have time to have a brief conversation about menu or beverage services. Once we got started, service improved a bit. Once food was served, we were forgotten. Food was good. The fries were superb.

Found this place while staying in the Marriott. Sat on the quay side and enjoyed a beer and a fantastic burger as the sun went down. Great value, this is a big burger and full of flavour and fresh ingredients.

The location at Islands Brygge is great, the food was delicious and the service fast and friendly. We had a salad with baked goat cheese and got the perfect wine recommended to it.

Neighbourhood Profile
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
