This is not a typical hotelrestaurant but a non-conform cool place to eat good food with some nice glasses of wine. This is our third time and it has NEVER let us down. My girl friend tried the pear-balsamic salad - but was a little disappointed when asking to make it a main course size since it was only on... More

One cold evening we decided not to venture out but eat in the hotel. The Midtown Grill has a pleasant atmosphere and if you're fortunate to get a window table, great people watching. Service is very attentive and the menu and presentation very innovative. We would recommend the pork belly as an entree and the raspberry variation for dessert. Both... More

Worst steak I've eaten: service and wine list awesome. Don't eat the beef fillet. Shame as the staff were amazing

We were tired of walking and exploring Beautiful Copenhagen all day, so this restaurant was convenient. Had dinner there twice. Their Pasta was not good, but their hamburgers were excellent. The soup was great as well. Service was good.

The waiter asked me if I wanted a glass of water when I took my seat. I just ate a soup for 75 crown. When I got the bill I was suprised: got charged 80 crown for the water he gave me!! More than even my (tiny) bowl of soup was! When I asked clarification the waiter said: "you didn't... More

6 Americans. Just got in, were jet-lagged and travel-weary, didn't feel like venturing too far, so we went to the Midtown Grill which was in our hotel that we were staying at. View was nice. Food was expensive, not sure if overpriced for Copenhagen, but it definitely wasn't cheap. Server was decent and attentive, spoke English to us. I don't... More

After a slightly delayed flight we arrived just after 9.15 pm at the Marriott. As the restaurant was open til 10.30pm we decided to freshen up and eat here rather than chase off elsewhere. The mains we ordered were very good, well cooked and presented. Service was friendly and overall a very good meal. Good choice of wines and beers... More

We ate at the Midtown Grill three times. Food was good (the salmon was exceptional) but overpriced. Service was good two times but we were thoroughly ignored the third time. It is convenient not to leave the hotel and that is the only reason we kept going back.

We had dinner here while we were staying here. The food was very good, especially the Danish appetizer. The restaurant however was understaffed so the service was slow. The staff was friendly but just over worked. Overall, the food was good for a hotel restaurant but don't expect rapid service.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
