This famous Copenhagen restaurant brought the real Italian pizza to Scandinavia. Discover what a real, traditional and healthy pizza tastes like. We were a dozen friends having dinner at Mother for a birthday celebration event. Not only the food was excellent, but the service and the restaurant itself (decoration, mood, comfort...) were all spot on. So far, probably the best... More

Popped in early evening and managed to get a table for just over an hour. Ordered sourdough pizzas and they were delicious, nicely cooked with tasty ingredients. Good honest food, more expensive than a cheap pizza cafe but great atmosphere and certainly reasonable by Copenhagen standards.

We ordered takeaway pizza & garlic oregano focaccia bread. The pizza was good but the garlic focaccia was dreadful, the middle tough hard to eat surprisingly the crust was the best part. While we waited we ordered aperol prosecco each, we watched the waitress make it- 3/4 glass of ice, aperol, a splash of prosecco and a bottle of soda... More

Went with family on first night in Copenhagen. Glad we emailed to book as they were packed. We had book originally for a table at 7.30 and knew during the day that we would be running late. No emailed Nick again, and no problem to get the table later for 8.30. Great friendly interaction. This was enhanced when we got... More

We came across this place by chance on a Sunday night and were very happy we did. It was fairly busy but the service was excellent. Cocktails were lovely and the place has a really relaxed homely atmosphere. My pizza was excellent, my friend preferred mine to his but I think that was just a case of food envy because... More

I came here because I'd read somewhere that the pizzas here were "works of art." The pizza I ordered was certainly beautiful, but I wasn't *that* impressed by it. I will say that the service was friendly and prompt, and the ambience was homey (nicer than the main picture here).

First of all, unless you want to wait 30/40 mins at the bar or more on a Saturday, go after 8/8:30. We only had to wait 10 mins then. Good choice on the menu and delicious pizza. We went for a bottle of the cheapest/house 'Mother' Red and it was a really decent wine. Buzzing atmosphere and lovely and warm... More

Visited here tonight for dinner. Waited around 45 mins for a table, which we didn't mind as it is a Friday night and we didn't book! It is very busy which meant we had to catch the waiters attention for everything (I.e getting a menu, ordering drinks) It also meant a few things we asked for (pepper, water) never arrived... More

I was actually searching for another place that was recomended to me, but when i couldn't find it i saw this place. Looked busy and with heavy snow and high winds in Copenhage this evening, i just wanted to be inside somewhere. Was told that there would be some wait for a table, but was shown to the nice bar... Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
