Very disappointed with the service. Ok food but nothing more. The servants were more busy chatting and ignoring the few guests dining.

My partner and I went here on Saturday night based on reviews. Cosy looking restaurant, service started well and the herring starter we shared was nice. My partner had the cod, very bland with a mustard sauce that was a solid congealed lump. No finesse, the fish was not boned or skinned just a steamed lump with potatoes and no... More

Nice place. Service is slow. Food not bad. I choice the danish meatball with potato salads. Was good and a berry pie. They forgot the order for the pie and took long but we where chatting so doesn't the matter..not a big issue.

Nyhavns Faergekro truely is an awesome restaurant! First of all the service great, a special shout out to Axel, who has a great sense of humor and very nice person, -I recommend him! The food is amazing, two plates I recommend is veal tossed with breadcrumbs, with potatoes, peas, along with a sauce (don't remember what it's called). The other... More

Our family stopped here for lunch on a walk around Copenhagen. The service was very slow, actually had to go and get a waiter to ask for our bill. After asking twice for the heaters to be turned on, we were told they weren't working. We then moved tables and found the table in our new spot was so wobbly... More

We just stopped for drinks midmorning. Great outdoor seating. Lots of folks enjoying a late breakfast, or an early beer. Lunch buffet was already laid out inside and it looked great. Recommended

The food was excellent, and so were the wines. I wish, though, that the set dinner had included an alternative to lobster. Staff were very friendly, and I liked the interior.

We really wanted to saviour a real danish lunch, so we decided on the buffet,we were not disappointed.the choice was really good with an array of different sauces and marinades. There were a couple of dishes I wouldn't feed to a starving cat but I'm sure the locals love it,it was a peculiar purple/blue weird salty herring dish but the... More

It was freezing outside and we needed a reprieve from the weather. We shared a cold plate of fish, chicken and meat with plenty of bread for two. The place is typically Danish and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the Danish apple cake which is layered stewed apple with crumbled ameretto biscuits topped with cream. Lovely dessert... More

Went here for a danish meal. Missed out on the herring buffet which looked good. But had herring 5 ways for starter which was amazing. Mains were steak (nothing special) and grilled salmon (nothing special). Both cooked ok. Served with some veg which was tasty. Too much sauce though. Go for the herring
