We stayed down the street at an AirBnB and this place restored my faith in Bruschetta after years of disappointing, stale versions. Ate here with my wife and 2 teenage sons and we all enjoyed our food. The spaghetti with olive oil and peppers was...More

We needed a break from Greek food, and Bel Paese was closed so tried here, despite reviews saying slow service etc. Its was not slow at all! Menu is starters, pizza, pasta. We enjoyed our starters (brushetta) and mains (pastas) and the warning about the...More

We ordered three dishes, the carbonara was overloaded with Pecorino which made it dry and you could only taste cheese! I ordered rigatoni with pumpkin and cheese nothing to remember and difficult to digest. The third plate was much better with tomatoes and fish. The...More

This is a wonderful little restaurant filled with charm and tasteful cuisines. Stay off the main strip, come here and try their specials. You will be completely satisfied and happy you went away from the crowds. They import peppers from Malawi to add heat to...More

This is a small restaurant with great home made pasta, wonderfully tasty salads, great music and friendly and helpful staff. There are a couple of special dishes each day, the Bios beer is great and the red wine is palatable. Relaxed atmosphere.

Understated but with lots of character, we enjoyed dinner at this neighbourhood Italian. Perfectly cooked pasta, well priced and friendly, welcoming service. A lovely meal.

Near the Acropolis Museum and restaurant row hawking every day for your business, this small Italian option is one block over on a side street. We had a group of 9. We went by the evening before to make a reservation. They were very hesitant...More

Cozy and quiet Italian restaurant in Athens. Delicious pasta dishes. Relaxing atmosphere. If you go, be sure to have time to sit and relax because the dishes take a while to come out. Enjoy a bottle of wine while you wait. Filled with local Greeks,...More

We stopped in here Friday night around 21:30 or so - the restaurant has a wonderful intimate atmosphere with just the right amount of lighting to set a relaxing mood. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful, but the wait time was a bit...More

Named after the well-preserved Thission (ancient
temple of Hephaestus), Thissio is blessed with a small
wooded park and some less frenetic streets that offer
numerous quieter places to stay and eat. Largely
pedestrianised Apostolou Pavlou Street runs between
the Acropolis and forested Filopappou Hill, well worth
climbing for more great panoramas, until it merges
with Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. This leads to the
