One of the best experiences about food in the ancient Plaka area in the historical center of Athens.. It is a little pricy but it worth all the money.. Alternative dishes all made in heaven! Even the traditional fish n chips, wasn't traditional at all! Must go

This was an upmarket Greek style taverna, dressed as a gastro pub so they could charge accordingly. Decor was interesting. Food wise, I was really only impressed by the gluten free salami. The grilled prawns although beautifully presented on carrot puree, did not taste fresh. The gentlemen liked the potatoes covered in cheesy sauce with jalapeno peppers but it was... More

The red wine was the best we had in Athens, and the staff was nice. The food was not memorable and the restaurant felt like a house with a bunch of small rooms....maybe it was just where we were seated....not especially kid friendly

We went on Sunday afternoon for lunch. Although in the middle of Plaka, it was quite relaxing and, strangely enough, the children around were quiet. Our waiter was very kind and eager to assist. We even moved the table to have some sun!!! The building is just beautiful! In regards to food, bread was fresh and really tasty! I would... More

I tasted 5 different dishes during a beer and food pairing and they were all delicious. The service was polite and friendly, the neoclassical building is very well maintained and the spot is perfect for a nice stop during a walk in the Plaka district.

The food was 50% feta. The food is nothing special here, they have misunderstood what a gastro pub is. The ingredients were not of a high quality and the waiter was too pushy trying to get us to order food we didn't ask for. Really disappointed, we hoped for more.

If you fancy a few good beers in a trendy environment this is the place for you. Very few places in Athens do beer as well as 7 Food Sins. The food is "ok", I did feel the Chef is trying too hard and trying to complicate things a bit too much. All the staff are wonderful they really make... More

We were working in the area and this place was like a pond in the desert as far as breakfast concerned! Reasonable prices! Friendly and polite staff!

The staff is super friendly and definitely caters to families with babies. The food was a unique twist on traditional Greek dishes along with international classics that you have grown to love. The Greek salad ("Greek on the Grill") had its own flare and was delicious. The beer was great and highly recommend the draught porter. Lastly, save room for... More

Description
You couldn't speak yet, but you could taste. The flavors were explosions in your mouth. They changed you. They tought you to share. Eat light. Eat with remorse. They tought you to fear the 7 sins of eating: Being gluttonous. To envy the food of your neighboor. Eat with bare hands and lick your fingers. To feed him/her in the mouth. To be excited by the flavors. To have your mouth filled. To relax. Still searching, but less. Fewer things are touching you. Better and better. Now you only seek for perfection. 7 Food Sins. Realese yourself!

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
