I had one of the best Sunday roasts EVER in The James Joyce. A very nice, friendly, Irish pub with excellent food. Slightly "out of the way" but well worth the search.

Pretty ordinary Irish pub in the touristy area of Athens. They have pretty normal Irish pub beer selection. So if you’re after a pint of Guinness this is your place. Wi-fi worked well. And that was what we were after.

Well, this is an Irish pub frequented by Irish people plus various locals. Perfect spot with a great view of the ancient ruins and surrounded by second hand bookshops. The keep Guinness and Kilkenny. The secret in draught beer is how well it's kept. No...More

Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized
streets surround the remains of both the Greek and
Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is
where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street
