I came here as part of the Culinary Backstreets walking food tour. Stani has been in operation since 1931, the last of the 1,600 milk bars that operated in Athens and Piraeus in the 1960s. They specialize in sheep's milk yogurt, served with walnuts and...More

After reading the reviews for this little yogurt shop/bakery. I had to visit. And I am so glad I did. We had the doughnuts with ice cream and it was delightful. The staff were friendly and everything was very reasonably priced.

Conveniently close to the Omonia metro station, we enjoyed our best greek yoghurt so far and a delicious spinach pie. No reason for not having one of your breakfasts here if in the area. Don't let the "noise" surrounding the area discourage you.

Based on reviews for Stani, my husband wanted to come here for the yogurt. He got the standard yogurt with honey and walnuts and I got the baklava. He was very happy with his order and savored every bite. Compared to other places in Athens...More

Really nice breakfast (for a reasonable price). Loved the butter and honey. Everything tasted very fresh. Would recommend for what I think is a "traditional Greek breakfast".

Increadible texture and flavor of the traditional Greek yogurt. The mbougatsa was fresh and warm as well, top quality! And to top it off, the staff was extremely friendly. I'm very, very happy with my visit :)

I can't say it enough- if you're in Athens, you must go to Stani. I will dream of this breakfast with yogurt with nuts and honey, butter with honey, brioche, warm milk, and coffee for the rest of my life!

There is nothing wrong about this place. Everything was fresh and delicious, the galaktompoureko was out of this world and they make a wicked "anthogalo" desert, which is like a light clotted cream with honey. Everything was incredibly tasty and the service was exemplary as...More

The yoghurt is amazing and the service very friendly. Nice outdoor area and very well priced. Big selection of breakfast pastries and you can take yoghurt away with you. Definitely recommend going for breakfast

Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is
grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from
the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its
underground stalls, the square is now mostly
frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The
most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set
off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually
coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a
