Recommended by locals, this is a fantastic restaurant with an excellent cook who made her name on Paros. You can not go wrong as everything is delicious - we tried most things on the menu by taking lots of dishes and sharing them. Ask for the very good local liqueurs to finish off with. AND you get away with €50... More

After some long shopping hours in Kolonaki we headed for this restaurant around 3.30 pm. The very polite waitress took us to a nice table suitable for our group of five & the little baby. We ordered a fish soup ( kakavia ) which was delicious followed by smoked eggplant which was also very good. We also went for the... More

Set in a nice neighbourhood this is a bright modern restaurant. The food was traditional but with a novel twist. First rate salads. Prawns with chilli and pasta was lovely. The Santorini house White was great. Prices were not to bad.

We always come here whenever we are in Athens! It's a lovely restaurant, the food is superb and the ambiance great. I'm a fan of Argiro Barbarigou (a well known Greek chef) and her dishes are always excellent! The restaurant is in Kolonaki and you must try it if you find yourself there! The quality is excellent and the prices... More

I visited this restaurant invited for a business dinner. The food was really tasty with interesting and the fish was served perfectly. I had the chance to meet mr Papadakis who made us the honor to drink one of his personal collection whiskies which was spectacular!

We visited Papadakis with our two kids; 11 and 5 years old. They enjoyed dinner as well us we did. Elegant restaurant with good dishes. Especially recommended for ones already staying at Kolonaki.

Had the charamelized octobus for starter which was overcooked and soaked up in its sauce. The salad we ordered was fresh and tasty. They offered bread which was promoted as home made but didn't taste nearly as fresh and was charged €3 per person! The shrimp pasta linguine was ready made and tasted average, same as the fish mashroom and... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
