This restaurant, in Kolonaki, just a 5 minute walk from Syntagma has great food. Many Greek favorites: calamari, souvlaki, Greek salad, etc.. and also some of the best pizza and cheeseburgers you'll find anywhere. Nice cozy atmosphere with music on most nights. On my trips to Athens, I often end up going to Cafe Boheme several times: great food and... More

Ok, if you found this place on Fodors, let me just say this: Take the review with a grain of salt. This isn't as described. That being said, not all is lost if you have a reservation here. It's a nice enough place with really friendly waitstaff. It's certainly more of a bar than a restaurant, so keep that in... More

Boheme is a bar / restaurant in Kolonaki, walking distance from Constitution Square. It serves a variety of meals, which feature excellent ingredients and fantastic recipes. The truffle-flavoured pizza is a favourite. Boheme is both a bar and restaurant, and there is always an interesting crowd there. Good prices. Strongly recommended.

Great ambiance, very chill. The decor was on point and the service phenomenal. Also, they serve the meanest grilled sardines I've ever had!

My husband and I happened upon this fabulous little restaurant and bar while my mom was at evening Mass at the cathedral down the street. We were exhausted and just wanted to sit and relax. This place was perfect. It was cozy in the most comforting sense of the word, so we settled in and ordered cocktails (excellent). When my... More

The dinner reservations were made through five star hotel. Hotel staff, which usually gave excellent recommendations, did not know anything about this establishment, except that it was located in Kolonaki a is a better neighborhood in Athens. This selection was made based on Fodor's "Fodor's Choice" recommendation. When arrived around 9:45 PM, the Cafe Boheme was as described a "petite... More

Fantastic little restaurant with great atmosphere. Dark inside with deep reds on bar and chairs. Reminds me of an old school dinner club. Great food and service. A must when visiting Athens.

Drinks, loud music and a small menu define this little charming place, 2 types of menus, one chef's recommendations, the other the classic menu, most dishes are good, the patrons try to make comfortable and use their knowledge of English to communicate, there are a couple of tables outside if you a more quite atmosphere. I like it !

Description
Cosy restaurant-bar, situated in the exclusive Kolonaki district and offering superb quality seasonal Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, regional Greek wines, cocktails, great music and atmosphere...Open all day for lunch, coffee and drinks. Evening time, the kitchen is open until 1am and the lively bar is serving until 3am.This is a local hang out and everyday lunch place for business professionals and Kolonaki residents. The night time, a rather Bohemian crowd tends to collect, from actors, journalists, bankers, lawyers, to DJs, other bar owners and general bon vivant types around town!! Boheme is one of the trendier establishments to visit today...

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
