We stopped in by chance while walking through Porto. We've been in Portugal for weeks now and this may be the best coffee and pastel de nata (custard tart) that we've had. They bake everything in house. The tart was more custard than sugary sweet and the pastry fantastic, flaky and fresh. What a treat.

I had read great reviews about this place before we left home and we weren't disappointed. Amazing coffees and pastries. We came every morning for breakfast and had a mixture or pastries & savouries. Their nata's were to die for and still warm, great friendly service, staff were patient with our poor broken Portuguese and the prices were ridiculously cheap,... More

We ate here every morning when we were in Porto since it was close to our apartment. It was always filled with people due to its location near Clerigos Tower but what made it stand out was the fact that it was mostly inhabited by locals. The croissants were delicious, the coffee was strong and I really love their pastries... More

Came in here to avoid the rain. It's basically a bakery with seating. Does very strong cafe! Fine for a quick coffee or a quick bite to eat!

I was too early in the morning to enter Clérigos Tower so jumped into this cafe to have a breakfast. Very good collections of cakes and good coffee.

We've visited this place twice and it was always full of locals. At first we ate Bifanas, a traditional portuguese sandwich with pork cutlets and a chocolate pastry. Bifanas was extremely tasty, the pastry was quite good but both were very cheap! We gave 1,50 euros for each Bifanas and 0,60 euros for the pastry! Next day we returned for... More

I went here a couple of times for breakfast. It is hard to decide what to eat there are so many pastries to choose from. It is very busy and full of locals. I highly recommend it.

Good baked goods and good service. Good value and tastiness. Check it out if you're nearby and would like a cake!

We've been advised by our hotel staff to visit this place for having breakfast. It is full of locals which is a good sign I think. We had hearty breakfast there for several times only for a few euros. Highly recommended!
