A nice, local restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. Good choice of meat and fish and big portions. Food could have been a bit hotter but, other than that, a really good experience. Well priced

And with great service also! I was there for lunch and had the 9,50€ lunch menu of the day: bread and olives, soup, feijoada (house-made stew with lots of different types of meat and red beans, with rice on the side), half a litre of bottled water, dessert and coffee. The olives, the feijado, the dessert and the coffee were... More

We enjoyed our food very much, especially the black pork. Desserts are all expertly made by the wife of the proprietor. The waiter was well informed and clear in his explanations. This is a local restaurant rather than a tourist place, but communication was a breeze.

We had a very quiet dinner one night on Wednesday, and liked the food and excellent service so much we tried a second time on Saturday, which was a very busy night, but service and food quality were left intact. Try it, the setting is maybe a bit dull but with good company, good food and wine, you're all set... More

This evening and also a few days earlier, we enjoyed our dinner in this cosy restaurant. The meals are simple but very tasty. The service is outstanding, the wines are very good. The portions of food and wine are very generous! You won't leave this restaurant thirsty of hungry :) If we ever come back to Porto, we will certainly... More

We always try and look for something that is not aimed at the tourists and is offering traditional food for the area. We had the roast veal with potatoes and vegetables and the cheesecake pudding. And a couple of glasses of the house wine.

This restaurant has an amazing outdoor esplanade, well covered with vines which is fantastic for warm days or nights outdoor lunch or dinner. The interior part of the restaurant is very pleasant too. This last time I had dinner here was fully charged with adrenalin because of the final Euro 2016 Portugal-France match but we did manage to have dinner... More

We chose this place to try the famous Tripas à moda do Porto. Neither of us is generally a fan of tripes, but it was a must-try in Porto. :) Nice calm ambience, a step away from the touristy downtown. We ordered a portion for one person, plus a black pork dish. The portion of the tripe dish was absolutely... More

If you value quality food at a good price with no tourist trappings, this is a great find. Service and food are excellent. Appeared that they have a number of regulars who hang out here.

We enjoyed an amazing meal here and would highly recommend a visit. The manager and all the staff are very friendly, funny and helpful. The portions are huge actually enough to feed more than one person. It is also very good value and if you are looking for rustic traditional setting and good food at a low cost this is... More
