Like almost of the restaurants in Ribeira, they increase the price and the employers are more concerned in bring people who pass than serve the people already inside. The food is not really good, there are much better even in Ribeira with similar prices

Waste of money. Overpriced and seriousily hideous food. Service was average at best and we had to wait way too long to get served with what was brought out. I guess you’re pretty much paying for the location.

Very good fish. We were looking for fish and this place did not disappoint. We were lucky to find a seat as a lot of people were lined up. I recommend going early.

Visit for dinner . It was busy and table had not been cleared. Waiter removed used crockery etc. and virtually threw down plates, glasses and cutlery without saying a word. Eventually came with a menu waited quite a while before he returned for order. Drink...More

The food here is marginal. The tomato salad is hot house cardboard tomatoes with no taste. The pork and chicken Carioca are just OK. But what tells you about this place is that my spouse found a whole toothpick in her vegetable soup. When the...More

Good location on the river, staff friendly and food was superb. Service was fast despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, would definitely return.

I would rate this restarant for 3.5 stars, but I don't have this option, so I will give 4 because of the view over the river. The food was quite ok, the waiter a little bit bored...but there was indeed full with people and other...More

Nice restaurant for a meal on the Douro River. We have visited this restaurant a few times, as a family, and have always been pleased with the local! Diversity of dishes! Price / Quality ratio: good

We initially avoided this place after reading it was a tourist trap, but gave it a chance after coming back late from a tour with no other booking. Glad we did! We had a terrific server & food. We ordered the fried sardines--small whole deep...More

No need. Just pop in. During busy times like lunch and dinner this place is easily fully booked. I strongly suggest to come in a bit early. All the very best! 😊
