I had a dinner with work colleagues on a Fridat night and even if the food was decent I found the service very poor. The waiter who attended us had manners more alike to a pissed club bodyguard, than to someone who should make people feel comfortable and welcome. I really couldn't appreciate the food with this guy super rude... More

I still don't know how the food is. I know that it took 43 minutes to have a beer...there are hundreds of people and only 3 waiters. Tables are all one next to the other and you have to move every time one of the 3 waiter needs to pass thru. For now I'm not impressed at all.

We stopped in one night for a beer and stayed for many! The staff was wonderful and although we were too full to eat, all of the food looked and smelled amazing!

The B&B sent us down the street to this place. No reservations needed. Fairly large and very good service. Grilled octopus was terrific - actually everything was very good and reasonably priced (have to love the prices in Portugal!).

Very good meet and Bacalhau. Ask for a – posta – and you will get a steak the size of your plate. TOP RECOMMENDED

After seeing good reviews, my boyfriend and I decided to stop here for lunch. The place is quite big and cosy. Food is absolutely delicious!! Dishes are huuuge. Both of us orders 1/2 dish and still couldn't eat half of it. You should definitely try this!

After a busy morning and only with a few minutes to spend for lunch I got a "Preto no Prato" which was a great beef steak with rice, fries and fried egg! I had a very good meal that kept me satisfied the entire day.

Not sure why this place isn't in the top 10 restaurants in Porto. We got a mixed meat grill that was so ridiculously good we almost cried. They also bring you these black beans that we begged for the recipe. It seemed very local and unassuming and we were so happy our b&b owners recommended this place.

We found this place just by chance. There is nothing more typical than this. The food is just great and not expensive. We ended up going twice to this place and beleive me if we stayed longer in Porto I would have gone a 3rd time. The service is great and very welcoming. Try their bbq meats so yummy.

I have no idea if it is a Portuguese thing or not but 1 portion = 4 people. I'm not exaggerating it is literally 1=4 people. Unfortunately they did not tell us this (they need the business) so my girlfriend and I ended up not only leaving the majority of our dishes but paying for 4 people. The food itself... More
