This restaurant is recommended in Rough Guide. As previously mentioned, you are squeezed in next to other couples. In our case we were lucky and got on ok and this, along with the staff's jokes helped create a good atmosphere. The fish we were shown...More

This small, very busy, restaurant (specialising in fish) has had us returning year after year and is one of our favourites in Funchal. Starters of fresh melon with parma ham, spouse had limpets, were good choices. My main course of steak was cooked to perfection,...More

Visited end of August 2010. Small but pleasant place with very friendly waiters - although slightly less attentive once they've captured you ... Good food but I'd suggest avoiding the fish of the day as it can end up fairly pricey - but that's probably...More

difficult to find, but try it, because all the daily fresh fish is delivered here and they serve it really good, very small place, but worth trying since funchal has hundreds of average mainly fish based restaurants, you won't be disapointed by that one.
