Alright, so you think you had good and cheap food in Portugal... no, you haven’t! This place is typical, we had bacalhau (codfish) and shrimp along with people from this town for less than any other place in Portugal, the food is excellent, the servers...More
Fabulous food, great homey atmosphere, good service, and prices locals can afford, I.e. no hike in price for tourists. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. It was a great typical Portuguese restaurant in which to have the last meal of our trip.

Visited the Cafe this evening. Very warm reception. The restaurant was packed with guests. Grateful we had a reservation. Dinner was delicious. Staff delightful. Made our stay a pleasure. Will definitely return before we leaving Obidos.

Friendly and family table service, but severely under expectations considering the food. Grilled cod overcooked, monk fish that honestly didn't feel like it (the taste and feel of the fish was definitely not of monk fish) and the strogonoff had canned mushrooms with cream absent...More
