A Primavera do Jeronimo is a typical Portuguese tasca, a small restaurant with homemade hearty food. Bacalhau a Brás and Bacalhau com natas are just perfect and Amêijoas a Bulhão Pato are incredible!

I love the way restaurants like this is, small and cozy, with the kitchen in the corner. We passed this place and went in, for a lunch, and was well Met by the host. Staff is friendly and helpful, smilling and talkative. I had stuffed squid, the speciality of the place, so tasty and a lot as well, My wife... More

Located in the heart of Bairro Alto, Primavera's restaurant although small in terms of space is a very good choice if you want to taste real Portuguese cuisine. Please try "Pataniscas de Bacalhau" or "Filetes de Pescada" with "Arroz de Feijão" and I'm sure you will never forget it. For dessert please ask for "Leite Creme". Don't forget to make... More

We just happened to wander past this tiny restaurant and for some reason stopped to read the menu. No surprises on the list of meals on offer, but we had a good feeling , so squeezed through the tiny door. We were greeted by a charming waiter and took a table. After 3 days in Lisbon I had still not... More

We ended up going to this restaurant because the one we had in mind was already full. We didn't regret. # Portuguese cuisine # Food tastes good # You can see the kitchen # Friendly staff # Very small restaurant like most of them in Chiado

Well, it was recommended to us (we were 4 with our neighbors) but I must say this recommendation was a miss. This was supposed to be a marvelous local food, not a tourist place, all taken every day from the local market, but, well, place was small, but really fishing for tourists, you can say from the way menu is... A Primavera is a very small, cosy restaurant in a side street. The whole ambiente es very authentic and you could really imagine a portuguese mother standing in the kitchen, preparing the meals for her guests. I had the fried gambas as starter and the grilled Dorade as main course. The food was excellent and very good value for money.... More

We came upon this little restaurant by chance.Recommended by the man at the front before they opened, came back at opening time at 7.30 and there was already a queue to enter. Service was very friendly and most informative. The crumbed veal was so good that it deserved a second choice on the next visit. No frills, just a perfectly home... More
