We visited here a couple of weeks ago and the food was nice. We both had seafood and they brought the fish out to show us before we chose. There wasn't a huge range of food, but there didn't need to be. The fish and potatoes that it was served with was really nice. It did come with some spinach... More

We went for pizza which was a god enough choice. Being a vegetarian I had to ask for a pizza with no meat in it, but that is an issue i had the whole time in Lisbon. They prepared a simple margherita with mushrooms and onions which was pretty decent. The others in the family had a steak, i was... More

I love going to Mamma Rosa. It's a simple little hideaway in the middle of Bairro Alto with very friendly and attentive staff that serve great italian food! I loooooove and recomend the Carpaccio, for starters, and everything else on the menu is pretty yummy but I love the pasta with smoked salmon... Forgot the name of it on the... More

We had good pizza. The waitress was just there when we needed here. When we left she even offered us an umbrella. Very nice!

Nice little restaurant, resembling to an italian osteria or a greek taverna. Nice atmosphere, nice salad and pasta, tiramisu not so good. Prices could have been lower. Service was great, although I was informed that the regular waitress was on her day off.

I went there with friends, they told me that this restaurant were very good and famous a few ago. The atmosphere is simple but nice, i tried Fettucine with Camembert and prawns, was ok, not great. The prices of beverage are to expensive, 1 coke 2,30 €, 1 coffee 1,50€ and 1 bread with garlic butter 2,20€ is to expensive... More

What to say about Mamma Rosa. This was once, many years ago a cult place in Bairro Alto for Italian food with a charming ambience. This summer we tried it again, but the service was really bad with very unfriendly staff - if there was not my wife insisting to stay I would have left. The Pizza was somehow a... More

This is probably our favourite restaurant which is saying a lot when we are in Lisbon. This small plce takes pride in serving good food and giving great service. It is a little hard to find if you visit for the first time but well worth it. It is at Rua D. Gremio Lustiano almost opposite the Largo T. Coelho.... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal in this little unassuming restaurant. Shared the garlic bread and an aubergine dish to start, both were simple but lovely. I had lasagne for mains which was nice but my other half had their seafood with squid ink tagliolini which was one of the best seafood pasta dishes we've ever had. The prices were fair and... More

never paid 11euro for such a medium-sized and taste-boring pizza before in my life, gilrfriend had spaghetti with sauce, nothing special but taste-boring too. service fast and okey but pricey, even the restaurants in the real "tourism" distrtict between rossio and baixa-caidho to restaurandos only ask 7-9euro for such a pizza.
