Very nice, local, restaurant. Kind waiters and good service. Low prices, but be aware with the starters, what you touch you have to pay. We will be back!

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it was a major disappointment. The waiter put every possible extra on the table, several of which we did not touch. Our order was inaccurate and the waiter did not appear to be prepared to correct it. The prawns which did arrive were overcooked, which is unacceptable at a restaurant specializing... More

For the uninitiated, anything put on the table that you touch you are charged for - a dish of olives, bread, a plate of sliced meats, etc., even if you didn't order them. So beware - if you don't want it, wave it away. Also, our waiter got two orders wrong, brought cold overlooked prawns instead of the prawns piri... More

One of the best restaurants in the area, with a great relation quality-price and with good food, nice wines and a really quick, friendly and efficient staff. The codfish here is lovely as well as the meat. The only thing is that it can be a little bit noise. It is excellent for a great Portuguese meal and for groups.

If your hotel is hidden somewhere in the area, it is one of the best and least expensive options to eat out. Great quality of food, nice big portions and really not expensive. Service is friendly and helpful. Open late as far as I understand as we went there before going to sleep.

No frills, just good fish and good meat, some very good wine too. Was very busy for a Tuesday evening. Lots of locals inside. Waiters quick and efficient although they try to sell you the tasteless cream cheese as an appetiser and the usual nibbles and sardine paste! Prices not too bad slightly higher than others in the local area.

A typical Portuguese restaurant with a menu relying on a traditional repertoire of grilled fish and meat. I had grilled swordfish with vegetables and it was really great. Providing a great wine list, with wines from North to South (vineyards). The atmosphere is fantastic as this is where locals pop in with their families. Closed on Sundays.
