The Magano, in my opinion is the best alentejana restaurant in the city Try tomato soup, pãezinhos de coentrada, carne de porco à alentejana. The staff is very useful

I know Magano for several years now but rediscovered it recently. It’s even better. They went from the good typical regional food (alentejo) to a fantastic Portuguese gastronomy. The partridge is unique and the calf spectacular. The service is always amazing. At this time Magano is the best restaurant in Lisbon.

I like Magano. The staff is good and the food traditional. The chips are great but the fried chicken is weak. Possible to smoke inside.

In Lisboa if you want to taste the best tradicional Portuguese cuisine , please make your self a favor, and visit (better to book) the "O Magano", in Campo de Ourique. The Staff is very friendly and all suggestions made by Marco are perfect! For the desert keep some space for the delicious Pasterie and Cheeses. PS: the Adega is... More

This small unpretentious restaurant serves excellent fare, as can be made out by the profusion of regulars and a lack of tourists. Listen to their recommendations. Will certainly go there again.

This restaurant is perfect in every way. the service, The entrees are terribly delicious, the bread and the food is very fresh. I delighted my self with many delicious entries and a simple dish, Fish with green beans and cooked potatoes. Their selection of wines is excellent as well. This restaurant´s food is typically from the south of Portugal, Alentejo.... More

Was recommended this restaurant by lovely reception chap at Hotel da Estrela as one within walking distance. Wasn't disappointed. We booked a table prior to setting off which was just as well as the restaurant rapidly filled up. My rubbish Portuguese was no obstacle as the menu was cheerfully explained to us by a very friendly waiter. A selection of... More

I would give this restaurant 5 stars, the food is upscale Portuguese with excellent service. But the table of 4 right in the middle of the restaurant, next to us were ALL smokers and from the moment they sat down they all lit up. They were sitting at the "smokers" table below the vent, so it was legal. But the... More

Hard not to use the typical cliches . This restaurant must be on the list of places that should not be missed while you are in Lisbon. The food and the team are from an area between the Algarve and Lisbon, very unique food, amazing tastes and the Tomatoes fish soup must be ordered. They do have very unique wine... More
