It's a very cute little restaurant and their Tuna dish is a must try although all menu items we tried were amazing. Great for Tapas style evenings with friends.

Petiscaria Ideal had the best food we have had to-date in Lisbon on out 4 day stay! This place serves modern Portuguese food - no fries on the side here! The goats cheese salad and braised pork stew were absolute sound outs! We arrived early (by local standards) at around 7:30pm and were the second couple there and by the... More

I visited this restaurant this evening and had Baked Aubergine Tapas and Grilled Tomatoes Tapas with a very nice red wine. Service, food and ambience were first class. I can highly recommend this place and would be very happy to eat there again.

great petiscos style eating (tapas, shared by the table, 4-5 entries per meal suggested). hearty and filling, yet sophisticated enough. their wine choices are (as is usual in portugal) great but if you've come too early, check out the wine bar next door to it (forgot the name) for some higher end wine sampling.

We came back one week after, because we really liked this place. Awesome atmosphere, superkind waiters, food rich of taste, although the dessert wasn't as good as the rest. Anyway, we found the most delicious meat and fish ever eaten in Portugal. We appreciated sharing the table with other people and strongly suggest this place to everyone!

This place was recommended to us by our B&B and we are really glad it was! It is only a small place, a little of the beaten track, but we'll worth tracking down. There are only a few individual tables, mainly long tables were you could be sat next to a stranger; however this adds to the experience! More importantly,... More

Charming place, friendly stuff and really good food. We were a bit surprised at the prices - higher than we expected for the establishment and neighborhood.

This is one of the first restaurants with the new approach to the traditional Portuguese Tasca. The food is still great but the prices are really high, specially compared to what they were. Try de ensopadinho ... it's really good

I tried to get into their sister restaurant, which was fully booked and they recommended I come here instead and I'm so happy I did. Friendly and laid back, with the BEST meal I've had in Portugal during my three trips over the years (and on this trip, I went to a Michelin starred restaurant the night before, and this... More

This restaurant is small and a bit hidden away but the food is divine. Myself & friend got 5 dishes between us and each one as good as the last but have to mention the puree potato with goats and garlic, that was the winner. I would recommend this to anyone
