I spent an exchange semester in Lisbon and visited this restaurant around 5 times. The atmosphere is great and you feel very welcome. I didn't have any tapas which I don't like, they are all amazing and it's not the boring regular stuff you get,...More

A truly wonderful meal with many great small plates to select from. We enjoyed so much the good, excellent wine list , and meeting other travelers in a quant congenial setting.

We had a wonderful meal here on our first night in Lisbon. We arrived a few minutes early and ended up having a delicious glass of wine while actually waiting on the street. Of the plates we ordered we enjoyed the goat cheese with honey...More

I’m not sure what all the excitement is about truth be told. It certainly was a pleasant meal - the cod cakes were the highlight, the oily octopus and expensive sheep cheese was the low points. The servers were very pleasant and it’s definitely not...More

We had read about this restaurant in Lonely Planet (guidebook). We arrived right as it opened and we were able to get a table without a reservation. I would not recommend this, as you might not be as lucky as we were. What a find,...More

What an absolute hidden gem! Probably seats about 18 people max (or thereabouts) and has a cosy and warm atmosphere as a result. You’re unlikely to just stumble across this place but it is well worth going a little out of your way for. We...More

very nice little restaurant in a residential area (so don't give up if you think you don't find it, it's worth to go on! ) with authentic food and excellent service

Great and different small plates with mainly portugese origin. Go for lots of different choices. Not a winebar. 1-room resto with nice loval ambience and a competent service. They are into it!

I had read reviews of Cantinho Lusitano prior to arriving in Lisbon and had contacted the restaurant to see if they would accommodate solo diners (knowing that the restaurant seats only about 20 people total). I received an immediate affirmative response and made a reservation...More

Principe Real
From the splendid garden and its cafe-kiosk to its
restaurants, Príncipe Real is more than worthy of a
visit and it won't let you down: its attractions
include "Pavilhão Chinês" (one of the more eccentric
interior designs you'll ever see), museums and a
fantastic botanical garden. It's also a commercial
neighborhood, and you can visit a renovated Palace,
home of the Embaixada (embassy) trendy shopping center

My boyfriend and I visited in May and we walked everywhere and found Lisbon to be very safe. The only thing is it's very hilly and there are a lot of small streets that you can get lost in.

I contacted them via their Facebook page and was able to book a table for 10. Just had to fit the time around them. Definitely the best meal of the trip and such a lovely couple.
