Very nice place. The 14h30m shift is the best as it's more calm and relaxed. The food is very good and the staff doesn't let it end. The kids corner as a permanent person that the kids loved. The view is over the river which is a added bonus. Definitely a place to visit again.

A very good and comfortable place, nice food, good prices, and a good way to continue your visit to this excellent museum.

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2014

After being discarded by the restaurant, which confirmed my reservation but then reserved the space for catering a congress, I had to eat at the cafeteria. Not bad, but only two choices of food, rice was dry, meat was good, a more complete salad has to be paid on the side and the desserts were terrible options.

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belem
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
