We wanted to visit because of the reviews and also a personal recommendation from a friend. Absolutely awful. The two fish dishes we ordered (swordfish and bacalao) were burnt, and one hadn't been cleaned properly as you can see the photo of some internal organ...More

We've visited Santa Rita two times and were not disappointed, because it was tasty, welcomed and quite quickly served. My wife took soup and bacalhau, I tried tuna steak with potatoes & some veggies. For sure, steak was made from frozen tuna, but the price...More

The waiters are really nice, the prices are quite cheap, but the food is absolutely not as I expected, and it's not really Portuguese. We had bacalhao spiritual and arroz de petiscos. The flavour was really plain, all you could taste was coriander. I'm sorry...More

Very much enjoyed a cod fish, potato and egg dish (bacalhau à bras) and crispy pork with chips (black pork secreto). Delicious! After we arrived, restaurant filled quickly, including 8 person group for one waiter so very long wait for service.

There are a handful of tourists but I have the feeling that 90% of the folks here today were here yesterday and will be here tomorrow. It is inexpensive and the food and service were very good. I had the Grilled Bacalhau and recommend it

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
"Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in
Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the
