Ordered seafood rice. Generous portion could not finish the rice though served 2 people. The crab in the rice was fresh and sweet. Lovely! Shame about putting in frozen crab sticks which cheapened the appearance and taste buds of the dish. Beware of the starters they keep putting on your table - send back if you don't want these as... The restaurant is small and non tourist place, but it was an amazing surprise. The service is good, the beer is cold and the food is amazing. I tried the salt cod and it was very taste. My friends were happy with their meals as well Definitely recommend the visit

I ate here several times because the food was good and moderately price for the quality and quantity. I particularly liked the Bife a Camoes, but everything else I had was good, too. The place is small and gets very crowded at lunch and dinner, but I found the service to be efficient nonetheless. The staff were also very welcoming... More

Don't let yourselves be fooled by the homelike laid back appearance. Camões was expensive and overpriced for a really plain and basic portuguese meal. The salgados were dead cold. The main courses were greasy, heavy and The prices were even saltier. Even the butter was 3 euros. If you are looking for spending over 20 euros you can surely do... More

Last year we stumbled across this little family-like restaurant, and saw a Portuguese gentleman order a very interesting dish. We found out it was the famous Seafood Cataplana, but we had already ordered something else. So luckily this year I was able to come back and finally try it myself. It was delish! Possible the least expensive Cataplana in the... More

My wife and I went on a Sunday and found the food and service excellent. We will definitely go again soon. I had the soup, which was hot and one of the best I have had in Portugal, and the grilled lulas with boiled potatoes. My wife had the chicken filletts in a mushroom sauce with chips (crispy flat round... More

This is not high end Portuguese cuisine but good value and well cooked food.Staff are very friendly and helpful. They will offer good advice on food and wine (even recommended one of the cheapest bottles of red wine as good quality and value - it was). English is spoken and menus are in English. If you just want a simple goog... More

When I go to Lisbon, I like to eat the genuine food...and this is the place. I've been going to this place for a few years now, and never disappoint me. The food is utterly amazing and the serve / staff equally excellent. I even had my new years eve meal there, nicely calm without the fuss and over priced... More
