If you love "bacalhau" or if you want to taste a very good dish of "bacalhau" you need to visit this restaurant. We ate to different plates of "bacalhau" and both were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. But you should make a reservation first, especially when you're more people.

We had a great time at Laurentina. The food was superb and the ambiance was excellent. The service was very good and the recommendations were on spot. It is not a cheap restaurant, but it's reasonably priced considering the quality and service.

Terrible service, a waitress saw us at the door but we were ignored for five minutes upon arrival. Finally we approached another waiter who told us to take a seat wherever, but as we headed to a table suddenly the first waitress came running and confronted us on why we were "seating ourselves". She was rude, patronizing, and spoke to... More

Beware, I'm a Bacalhau (codfish) lover. Having said that it is important to say that the Bacalhau Alto grelhado was the best I've tried in many years. My dinner partners also had a blast with different Bacalhau dishes. All was very, very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive to details. 6 stars, I would say, should it be possible.... More

We got the Cod three ways. Stew with coconut Milk, traditional roast with potatoes and spinach, and grilled with eggs and potatoes. All three were delicious with traditional one ring the best. The stew was too salty for our taste but still good. Overall you have to like salted fish to truly enjoy this experience. Great service and atmosphere though.

we were there in the summer for eating the best bacalhau in Lisbona and I can say that we were really satisfied. Even if I wasn't very hungry I eat all the dish.

Very professional and good quality of food, good choices of different "bacalhau " receipts, good wine and clean place. Only small negative comment is that the staff were not smiling nor engaging at all with customers, cold atmosphere, to push customers to come back, we need both, quality of food and good atmosphere.

This is a mid size restaurant and service wise there was a bit of a disconnect - but we ate well for a good price. We enjoyed the pastel bacalhau (fish cakes) for entree and both selected the Bacalhau Natas (cod pie) for mains. Large serves and delicious. We had no room for desert so the bill was less than... My father took the family for his birthday to Laurentina and we knew the restaurant start was the codfish so we were prepared to eat! Once we got there, I was amazed with the beauty of the space. A mixture of fancy and comfortable with good light and a nice atmosphere. The staff is really nice and helpful. The dishes... More

We were taken here by some of our Portuguese friends during our Lisbon visit and we had an enjoyable experience. We were curious and excited about this place since it was a choice of the local people and because Bacalhau is such as important part of Portuguese food culture. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed the fried cod cakes and... More

Description
The Laurentina Restaurant, the King of the Cod, is distinguished for the quality of its plates and services since 1976, as much in true plates of Mozambican origin, as in the Portuguese traditional kitchen. In a friendly environment, it provides the pleasure of a true meal of Cod, confectioned of diverse forms, being certainly one of the best ones of Portugal.
