This restaurant was just across the street from our hotel in Lisbon. We decided to try it one night and enjoyed it so much, we went back again during our short stay. For context the restaurant and our hotel is in a very touristy area of Lisbon. The more reasonably priced restaurants tend to be large, filled with tourists and... More

We ate lunch here twice - fixed menu at 7 euros. Main entree + a drink of your choice. Main dish changes daily (if you are fortunate, you could get grilled chicken), otherwise your choices are pizza, pasta in creamy white sauce, or spaghetti with meat sauce. We tried their panna cotta at 4.60 euros - it was quite good.... More

We just love it! :) The food was really tasty and we felt the Italian feeling in Lisabon. It was a great time we spent here and we got a special Italian coffee at the end.

This is a ordinary Italian restaurant, Gois food but very expensive. Brushetta 9,50€, two slides of bread??? No seasoning in the food. Sangria is poor... Good service but that's all... Not to repeat... next!!!!

Excellent Pasta ! Lovely lazy ambience Good prices and attentive service. Music was big band giving the place a welcoming casual feel. The tiramisu with coffee can compete with the best !!!

We dined here for early dinner and were located upstairs with a lovely view down the street. Started with bread, olives and tuna pate. Our mains were ravioli with cottage cheese and truffles; and spaghetti pescatore. The serves were large and the food was tasty and the pasta very fresh. We enjoyed the house red and were served a large... More

Ended up going to this restaurant 3/7 nights on my vacation, because it has so excellent service, the waiters and everyone there were always in a great mood, serving delicious food, and very generous with alcohol in their drinks :D Would recommend it to everyone going to Lisbon!

To our surprise we were The only guests In the restaurant, which normally isn't a good sign. However, we were quickly amazed by the lovely appetizers, where especially the tuna paste were fabulous! The waiter was very Nice and told us beforehand that the appetizers weren't free and would cost us if we took some - but it was optional.... More

We had a really lovely meal here & had we found it earlier in our visit, would have come back again. The ambience was nice & relaxed & efficiently run by the charming Vasco, who made us feel so welcome & helped along by Krishna, who was also so friendly & efficient. The food was excellent, very well presented &... More

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
