I simple don't understand how this place can be so expensive! Service is bad. Food is bad. They charge you extra money for side dishes, which is not usual in Portugal. The food takes a lot of time to arrive to the table and when it comes it' cold. Avoid!!!

Even before going to Portugal we were advised by a Portuguese friend to book a table at the Clube do Peixe as the owner (by name Fernando) had a half-share in a fishing boat so the quality of his fish would be of the best. Rarely has advice been so well borne out. The Clube itself is well away from... More

To bad that we have discovered this restaurant on our last night in Lisbon. Cosy nice restaurant with tasty fresh food and good wine list. At the entrance of the restaurant you can see several types of fish/seafood displayed over ice in a kind of 'fridge container or glassed esky' freshly prepared for you at your selection. Staff very helpful,... More

Went to this restaurant on a cold, wet and windy night. The atmosphere inside was wonderful, warm, inviting. The staff are lovely. Fresh fish and seafood are on display to chose your meal, and they have an impressive non-fish menu. I had a traditional cataplana ( stew) and it was delicious, came with homemade fries and vegetables, and was huge!... More

Were here with my wife for dinner, and the staff were very nice and helpfull, the food was just amazing. I had octopus and was one of the best I ever had. The fish is fresh and the food properly prepared. Please try out the caramel mouse.

This is a restaurant a bit off the beaten track, frequented by locals, a lot of business type lunch patrons. The traditional food in Portugal, Bacalhau, (Salt dried Cod fish) was cooked to perfection. This small restaurant has experienced waiters and excellent service. The house wine by the glass was very good and we were pleasantly suprised.

If you are staying in a hotel near the bull ring (Campo pequeño) in Lisbon, this restaurant is just like eating on the waterfront. The fish are fresh and displayed on ice as you come in the front door. My father taught me to look at the fish's eye to check for freshness. And these fish all had bulging moist... More

Nice-looking restaurant appeared to be a place with a poor cuisine. The squids I ordered were tasteless and overcooked, it was impossible to eat even with lemon. When I tried to ask the waiter about the quality of the food, he just answered that it was my choice from the menu. Ok then, my choice is never ever again. Disappointed.

The place specializes in fresh fish and sea food. The reception was friendly, the menu inviting. Upon request the waiter immediately agreed to compose a meal with what he deemed to be the best of today's catch. The little starters were great, good olives, pickled carrots with garlic and a little fresch coriander, and small deep fried balls of chopped... More

I unintentionally went into this restaurant. I was on the way from the hotel I stayed nearby to subway, and it started to rain. Then I noticed a restaurant with Michelin sticker in front and decided to had lunch there. When I first walked in, I smelt really strong fish that I had to walk to the back of this... More
