Such a nice and friendly place. Good wines, tasty small bites and decent prices. Enjoyed two dishes and two glasses of wine. Could have easily stayed even longer. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful wine, tasty food and attentive, welcoming hosts. Had a wonderful evening.

Super cool place... nice wine... the goat cheese is perfect! The lady was able to guide us and it was a good experience. The decoration is simple but super cool at the same time.

What a nice place. Heaps of tasty Portuguese wines and a small bar were can taste the wines as well as have some delicious small dishes. Super nice peoples are running the place and give really good service. It’s a small place but can still...take around 15-20 people at the same time. Mix of old and new interiors.More

All the dishes were so delicious! Sardines, swordfishes, cod fish, pork knees🤤 And with perfect wine matches. Really easy to like with Sauvignon 🥰

We tried to book this restaurant before we left Dublin but they informed us that they don't take bookings. We arrived in Lisbon last Thursday and were unfortunate with our timing as we got three days of bad weather. We decided to stop by Nova...on the first afternoon and have a glass of wine, we ended up staying for two and sampling 3 of their tapas plates. It has an impressive interior, my husband is an architect and he loved it. We took the owners recommendations and had a lovely glass of white to start paired with goats cheese (photo attached) and followed this with the pork belly carpaccio and then we had a lovely glass of red paired with a strong blue cheese. For the 3 tapas and 4 glasses of very nice wine the bill came to about €45. The service was good and very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our afternoon here and had every intention of going back but a rugby match got in the way. We were glad we popped in during the afternoon as the food is extremely tasty but would not fill you if it is dinner you are looking for and also it may be difficult to get a table later in the evening as it is a small venue. We visit Lisbon every few months and we feel we have found ourselves a 'favourite' so will definitely be coming back to Nova.More

This was our first visit to Portugal and as wine lovers were interested in exploring Portugese wines. Based on our wine bar experiences, we would have to note we feel most reviews are focused on the great small plates of food they provide ----no question...there. But from a true wine experience , they fell short for someone interested in exploring Portugese wines. Their wine by the glass offerings is a very short list---picture attached. The owner was busy with other people and the other hostess ( although " trained by the owner" had only a basic understanding of the wine offering. We noted most locals had ordered a specific bottle of wine........so best to desctibe as a very nice small restaurant .......we had an exceptional true wine bar experience as compared places like the small BA Wine Bar. Better classified as a small, quaint restaurant with pricey but very nice small plates near tourist areaMore

Visited tonight for tapas and wine and it was a very enjoyable evening. Food and wine were fab. Definitely worth a visit we were well looked after by the owner. Hope to return again

Great selection of Tapas. Really enjoyed the octopus and pork hock. The owner did an exceptional job in pairing the wine to the food. A fun casual warm place for an evening.
