Very tasty food, very friendly staff, perhaps the owner himself :)), recipe from his great-grandmother. It was obvious he does his work with the heart, knows absolutely what he is doing. Communicative, funny, recommend few tips. I have not experienced such perfect service for a...very long time. And so somehow I'm sad about it. I know that this is the case for many people all around the world, to keep their businesses alive. And of course for my country also. For me 5/5! 👌🏻 Thank you.❤️More

A sad relic of a bygone era that puts misplaced pride over common courtesy. Sucolento may have excellent reviews but whoever the grouchy and passively aggressive person was who served us at 7.15pm today, could probably learn from McDonald’s on customer service and basic manners...when he recommended the fast food restaurant to us, twice, when we decided - politely - to go elsewhere because we weren’t sure our children would enjoy their no doubt excellent main courses. The restaurant was empty. My wife and I had decided to come back another time as a couple before the server decided to recommend McDonald’s up the road. I hadn’t realized McDonald’s and Sucolento served the same food. I’ve been in Lisbon for four months and nowhere have I encountered so misanthropic a man who not only made these barbs, unprovoked, but greeted us on a hot day by telling us that the government prohibited the use of air conditioning because of COVID. If you don’t want guests at your empty restaurant, don’t return missed calls to them and offer them a table. If the restaurateurs up the road, (Bistro Edelweiss and Tasca do Frances) and several of the hardworking people in the food business all over Lisbon, who are older and wiser and been in the game longer than Sucolento, can take the time to welcome foreign guests and patiently help their children with food options they aren’t accustomed to, they will stand the test of time and probably survive this pandemic. While the gentleman at Sucolento will probably not even have the basic qualifications of courtesy to qualify for a job at McDonald’s, which I believe is just up the road from them, and serving the same kind of food. I hope your experience is better than mine.More

Our first time dining out in Lisbon and we were not disappointed, the blue shirted waiter was the friendliest I've met here, made great conversation with our family and let me taste all the special sauces from other dishes (the blue cheese sauce was my...personal favourite) Even though staff must wear a face mask we could still see he was serving us with a smile. Food was lovely and washed down nice with the great local beer that I definitely reccomend.More

We absolutely loved this place. The food was the best we’ve had in Lisbon. The service was also excellent. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so don’t let that scare you off. The food is incredible. We want to go back before we...leave.More

Best pulled pork I’ve ever had. It had been slow cooked for 12 hours and it was so tender. The service was silver service standards. The owner chose what wine we had which was a lovely gesture. He was very friendly and made us feel...very welcome. Please go there it is amazing!More

Had a wonderful experience for dinner. Food was delicious and well priced, we ate Pork and Batatas Bravas, very yummy! We also ordered bread, although they didn't have it on hand the manager went out and purchased fresh bread for us. We left feeling welcomed...by staff and management after a great chat about travel, both food and service were exceptional.More
