With an elegant and comfortable space, located close enough but far from the city hustle, our main purpose is to create a unique experience of gastronomic discovery throughout the meal. We offer portuguese cuisine with contemporary influences and our open space kitchen works mainly with fresh products carefully selected in local markets and suppliers. You can always count with our team to welcome you and do our best to meet your expectations. It is necessary to make a reservation. We do not have Visa/Mastercard/Credit Card sistem!

Conceito is back!

After a 2 years gap they just reopened and we are so glad they’re back! Chef Daniel comes back enriched from his Dubai experience with new flavors, new executive chef, upscaling his game and the plates, and we went back to back as they did not disappoint! The space has been renovated and while the location remains out the beaten path it is completely worth it. Great menus (the tomato starter and barbecue pork tastes are still in my mind), great prices (4 courses + extra bits for 45 euros), great value ... and a lovely and personalized service by Vanessa and her team! Wine is amazing as usual and prices again here very reasonable. We recommend strongly as there is nothing else like it in Cascais.

Conceito, always a stunning dinner

We discovered "Conceito Food Store" about 5 years ago and since then we keep considering it the best fine dining restaurant around Cascais. Had dinner with family again last August 20th and we experienced the usual great welcome in a renovated and refreshed atmosphere. "Conceito" is small but modern and cozy with an amazing view to the kitchen where Chef Daniel and his staff creates delicious and surprising tasting menu with a touch of art. His wife Vanessa, the room manager, follows every aspect with attention and competence describing perfectly all ingredients dishes combination. Chef's creations are always made by local fresh selected products plus some incredible touch, making the dinner a real tasty experience. Very appreciated also the wine suggestion. Amazing Food Experience

Our experience ate Conceito Food Store was amazing. We can`t stop coming back to this place as it always exceeds our expectations: Chef Daniel Estriga and his team deliver an unique journey through all the dishes and with an amazing display/design and unforgettable taste. We had the five moments menu and it was a great choice! The welcome staff is warm and kind and all these pieces together creates a must have experience. We highly recommend!

We have been in Conceito Food Store several times, in family or with friends, and we always had a fantastic food experience. It is a great restaurant with sophisticated cuisine and a warm atmosphere where you feel truly welcomed. Chef Daniel is a rising star in the Portuguese panorama, and I am sure that he will be widely recognised as such. We look forward to returning there soon in order to try the new dishes that he surely is preparing.

Well worth a detour - this is an amazing find. You may have to get an Uber there but well worth it for the fantastic food, service and wine choices. I personally love eating at a restaurant where the chef chooses the food and this is no exception!

Don’t let the location turn you off. Neither in Lisbon nor Cascais in an unassuming neighborhood is this exceptional culinary gastronomic restaurant. Small, intimate , with a view of the kitchen and an outstanding service by Vanessa. Two good value fixed menu decided each day by the chef. We took the 4 course for 45 euros. Great value. Dishes were creative and sublime. Good wine list. I would consider this the best innovative cuisine in the Cascais greater area.

An outstanding dining experience!

We had reservations for my wife's birthday dinner here on a Wednesday evening in December. Little did we know that we would be the only diners in the restaurant the whole evening! Conceito easily could have cancelled our reservation, but instead they served us an absolutely magnificent 7 course meal (Viagem). We were seated right in front of the open kitchen, giving us front row seats to the magic that Chef Daniel would create. This chef is meticulous for details, and each dish was plated beautifully. From the veggie starters to both the fish and meat main courses, we were thrilled with every dish. It's been mentioned in several other reviews, but how this restaurant hasn't been awarded a Michelin star yet is beyond me! I will recommend to everyone I know visiting Portugal that this restaurant must be on their eating destination list.

Exceeding Expectations

This was the first time back to Conceito for nearly 2 years, due to Covid and an absence from Cascais. The refurbished dining room is simple, elegant and interesting with views directly looking into the kitchen, where Chef Daniel and his team create real culinary magic. With great Portuguese ingredients and cuisine based around some familiar and excitingly, some new tasting experiences, it is a real treat. Intense flavours and really memorable dishes. Front of house, Vanessa is charming. All in all, a lovely evening. Thank you.

Fabulous, private little restaurant in a tucked away place

We had a wonderful dinner at this very unassuming restaurant. Vanessa was an amazing hostess and waitress and we felt welcomed from the minute we entered the restaurant. Each dish presented was extremely unusual and i wish i had a written menu to review everything i was supposed to be tasting. The Bakala fish had a wonderful sauce as did the duck breast. Chef Daniel is clearly a magician with his sauces as they were the highlights of the evening. We added a wine tasting to the meal and we were very impressed with the choices and the pairings. I got a little lost on the courses but all in all it was a wonderful dinner. The dessert was very good but the after dinner petit fours were the real stars of the dessert lineup. I would like to go back again to see what he puts together for the next dinner. I cant even express so good the service was and how sweet Vanessa truly was from start of the reservation to the end of the meal.

Stunning food, great memories.

We had a group there for a birthday. The staff was incredibly attentive, thoughtful and professional. The chef is talented and the entire group was raving from the first bite. Wow. Incredible. We live relatively close and will definitely come again! It is located in a sort of non descript store front so it is easy to miss as the lettering is subtle but the inside is incredible and it made for a fabulous night! Make a special trip there.

We went to celebrate the wedding anniversary and it was simply superb, from the atmosphere to the professionalism and sympathy of the bosses and the desk manager. Located in a normal, quiet Guest house area in Bicesse-Cascais, where it was easy to park. We were soon surprised by the boss' mino. I ordered in the morning mother pasta bread to bring, which is delicious. Experience undoubtedly to repeat. Once again a thank you to the whole team, they were fantastic.
