Went to this restaurant based on Trip Advisor review. We both had the rice and duck dish - it was great. A Porto tonic and red wine went really well with the food. Vegan brownies and coffee finished the meal - brownies were excellent. We...were the only customers - got there around 7pm so had a chat with the waitress who spoke good English - better than our limited Portuguese. She told us it was quiet during the week but busy on Saturday lunchtime. They are a little way away from the main squares but worth going to especially if you are vegan or vegetarian - can be difficult in Portugal. Highly recommended.More

My son and I enjoyed our dinner in this charming, cozy place. He had rice-with-duck, which he said was so good it was "life-changing", and I had bacalao with nata, which was, however, a bit tasteless. The grilled Brie cheese we had as an appetizer...was extraordinary, as was the ham and cheese "tostá". My son loved his dessert of cheesecake with red fruits. The young lady serving us was sweet and attentive, and we loved the cozy atmosphere and great music - my son had never heard Billie Holiday before!More

We ordered the brown rice with duck and the vegan version of the traditional Portugese sausage alheira. Both dishes were great in taste. Simple yet delicious! The owner had some wine suggestions (based on our personal preference) which combined well with the dishes. For desert...we had some chocolate cake all in all resulting in a wonderfull experience. Not to forget the music was lovely to listen to while we sat down at the livingroom style decorated restaurant.More
