We wanted to eat something different than (the delicious) seafood we ate during our tour through Portugal. In Aveiro we therefore searched for a good place to eat pizza. Admittingly, it is not the first one you will notice and it's a few blocks away...from the center but definitely worth it. - Pizza: Great quality, well-cooked and fresh ingredients. Wood oven pizza, good quality ingredients. Try the spice olive oil and focaccia. Place could be bigger though.

Really great italian pizza. If you're looking for a great slice made with love and quality products in a traditional wood-fired oven this is the place to go in Aveiro. Try the pesto pizza and add some mushrooms to it to complete. Or try one...of the traditional pizzas with rocket on top. The place itself is not that cozy but it's not that bad also. Also you can take out, so that's also a valid option. The service is nice, with cool folks giving nice suggestions. You can get a quality pizza for less that 10€ which I think is a good price for what you're getting.More

Small restaurant, the staff was very attentive and the Pizzas are great! But not cheap for the average prices in the city.

It's not that the pizza is bad because can actually be one of the best in town but, the whole service attached is way below par. 30 minutes or more to have a meal at lunch during workdays?! C'mon... That's killing your own business.
