We didn‘t like the sweets and are actually really into pastries. But anyway this shop is super expensive. Go to the one next to it. It taste like the same and the service is at least friendly. Also the price is the half. This one...here is a total tourist trap.More

Went here to try the local sweets, Ovo Molo, after our boat tour guide recommended trying them. We picked this place because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. We tried the original ones and some others. They taste quite "eggy" and I probably...wouldn't eat them again, but if you want to try them, I think Peixinho is a good place.More

Nothing wrong with it. Every region, every city, every village has it's specialities and as a tourist you want to try them. Aveiro has it's ovos moles and you can spoil yourself with it. This confeitaria has a great choice and an excellent quality.

It was a great surprise the Confeitaria Peixinho. The price is a little bit salty but the quality compensate.

My friends and I loved this place! If it's original or not, it didn't make a difference because we were very happy with what we tried. It didn't have a typical Portuguese decor, but it was fun, bright and beautiful. The pastries were also beautifully...displayed and the gentleman helping us was very nice and attentive. Cool place in a side street. Don't get scared by the very fancy look as prices are good and the tasty desserts are excellent. Very friendly young lady at the counter. Represents Aveiro very well (and Brazil!!!). Very cool display and try a bit of...everything.More

There are other choices in Aveiro. Very overpriced. Some prices have doubled in the blink of an eye. The new design has nothing to do with Aveiro, ovos moles or any other local speciality. It is clearly targetting tourists. As a local, I have let...this place fall into oblivion.More
