We (4 people) were 2 times there and each time we were impressed by each dish. The best was the "traditional steak". It is cow meat cooked perfect in wine with garlic served with fried regional potatoes and an egg over it. It was delicious!!

We stopped just for a cup of coffee lured by a pleasant outdoor appearance of this venue. The place turned out indeed to be very nice. Friendly service, nice menu, simply decorated. Enjoyable.

We ordered the dishes of the day: two kind of fish dishes and one meat dish. All were excellent. Reasonable price, fast service, plus easy location: 2 minutes walk from main church.

Visited on a Portugal game expecting it to be very busy, it was very quiet. Food quality good prices very reasonable and service also good.Location is its best feature, a stones throw from City gates.

Doesn’t look much outside but this had fantastic meat and chips. So tender, tasty and cooked well! Great value for money too! I also like that you can choose rice and salad instead of chips

Definitely recommend this place. Food and service were top notch. Smack in the middle of the touristy places, yet almost all patrons are locals. Can’t speak highly enough. Wish we found this place a lot sooner.

Food was simple but very well done . very good coffee to follow , I had the Salt Cod which was very juicy and not overdone . Good value
