It's one of those places that only exists because it's on a busy footfall. It seems like frozen food mostly. There's no pride in any of it. Service so-so but food really the worry. Monkfish skewer, calamari and piri piri chicken all 1/4 eaten. Over salted and undercooked food. My fingers are crossed I'm not ill later.

Ordered the chicken and chips. once it arrived it came out cold (fridge temperature). Sent it back and it came back to dry to eat, but also raw on the leg how is this possible !! Avoid at all costs! How is this place still open!!

Thought to try the local salt cod grilled but it had too many bones in what do you expect with fish you may ask. Well I am used to boney fish and cope with it well but not this one

Having no clue where to have dinner, we decided O Charco must be quite nice as there was a decent number of people sat down at the the restaurant. HOW WRONG WE WERE. It took us about 10 minutes just to get the menu and probably another 15 minutes for the waiter to take our orders. I did feel sorry... More

Ate here on our first night. Wished we hadn't bothered The food was lazily cooked, the worst chicken piri Piri that I have ever had. My son's spaghetti bolognaise was dry and a car crash. Great location but just keep on walking and try somewhere else

Tried this one out without reading the reviews here and can't disagree with any of them. Lots of people sat around, not much serving going on. Waited ages for service, then food to arrive, which wasn't anything to get excited about.

it was 18:15 when me and my young family sat outside this restaurant for our dinner. The waitress came out straight away and said that her boss didn't want anyone sitting down before 18:30. I thought this was a bit odd but we left and came back 20mins later. i'd eaten here 3 years ago and liked it so we... More

The title says it all really. How could a restaurant serve such a poor spaghetti Bolognese? The look of it alone should have made the waitress think twice before placing it in front of me. Perhaps that's normal fare. Very disappointed.

Firstly the head waiter is rude and you just feel he doesn't want you there! Food bland cheap ingredients, we have eaten here before and it was ok but will never return. There are many other places to eat which are far better.

The service was exceptionally slow and the food was mediocre at best. It may have been a lot cheaper than other places I ate, but it showed!!
