So, if you want fine dining or fancy stuff go somewhere else. If you want a large chunk of fish (or meat, according to the chap next to me) cooked to perfection and served simply (best boiled potatoes I've had in years) this place is worth it. Very short wait at the door (under 5 minutes). Sadly no tuna tonight,... More

Went there with family , we had salmon, fillets and grilled fresh fish, it was amazing . All the staff very polite and friendly . It's on the list of fish favourites restaurants.

Tuna steak waz off; seemed like they tried to disguise it with excess salt. Ate 4 or 5 bites, spent all night and all next day in the bathroom.

You know a restaurant is good when it is full of locals on a Monday afternoon. This restaurant did not disappoint. Friend had a Huge portion of prawns that were simply devine. I had grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly and served with potatoes and a fresh salad. Will Defo be visiting again!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Couldn't fault any of the food we had. The tuna steaks melted and the salmon was incredible. By far the best place in Lagos

Well after having read all the reviews we were so looking forward to eating here . We were stood in the restaurants for a good 5 minutes before being acknowledged . Then eventually given a table . By a really sullen girl with the kiss tattoo on her neck ( I have several of my own so not against it... More

If ever a restaurant sticks to what it does well then this is it. Very fresh fish, grilled and served simply - that's what you get with very large portions for good measure. We visited twice in a week. No bookings and a queue outside all evening. The fish is fresh, cooked to order and the restaurant is busy and... More

I'd done my restaurant research before we headed in to explore Lagos with Adega Tipica A Forja starred on our Google map. There's nothing worse than having hunger sneak up on you, and in desperation you settle for a mediocre meal at best. So it was fortuitous that A Forja just happened to be off the little square we were... More

Tucked away in the old town, this place is a 'no longer hidden' gem. Getting a table here can be tricky, this place is popular with locals and tourists alike. The restaurant is unpretentious and many of its staff speak little English. You can see the old men and women preparing Portuguese dishes in the kitchen as you stand outside... More

I can describe everything about this place as excellent. The food is so tasty, definitely fresh fish, very well cooked and presented. We ordered grilled prawns, soup of the day, a seabass and a gilt-head bream grilled with salad, 3 different desserts, bread refill, bear and coffee at the end, and payed just 54€. We left the place with belly... More
