While the food is good it is not exceptionally. Have been there a few times the last years and finding it not keeping the level.

Visited by tourists and Portuguese, Ambassador and champion of local gastronomy throughout the world, was founded in 1945 by Manuel Fialho and became a world reference when talking on “awakening of senses” by the Portuguese cuisine, designated as Alentejana. Situated in the historic centre of Évora, considered a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1986, "Fialho", commanded by firstborn, Amor Fialho, who does the honours and their prescription is overseen by the third generation of the family, Helena e Rui Fialho.
