It's an unusual concept - just ten people are catered for each evening sat on high stools along a bar - but it works very well. The husband and wife team create beautiful local dishes in a friendly family atmosphere. It feels like a treat...More

Absolutely amazing. Period. It is quite a small restaurant with only 8 seats, so arrive early or be prepared to wait. It is worth waiting if you have too. The service and attention are exceptional, all provided by the proprietor. Simply the best.

We went there 2 nights in a row - forget the wait, the food is simply amazing. For starters, the pata negra ham, quail eggs with chorizo and baked cheese are all out of this world! The mushroom starter was simply 'fondante'. The local black...More

My wife and I were wandering through Evora District and we choose this restaurant based on the Tripadvisor's reviews. Definitely worth it! It's a small restaurant where everybody seats around the counter on round benchs (only 9 or 10 spots). Domingos (and his wife, the...More

No, since there are only nine places at the bar. We eat earlier than Portuguese people do so we lucked out. Go before opening time and you might get lucky too.
