We arrived around 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening, looking at the menu I decided on a roast dinner (i did ask if this was still being served) I was told by the waitress "yes of course" only to find no turkey, no lamb only...More

As above really. The location is great and its always nice to find a place that is dog friendly and your not hidden away in a corner. The food was also very good and the staff could not do enough to help.

This is our second visit this year with the accommodation and food excellent. Staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Views amazing and just missed the dolphins last evening. A great winter retreat as it's gets extraordinarily busy during peak season....More

Went for a meal out with my wife for her birthday with some friends. Very nice meal, very friendly staff, however if you were in a rush I could see why you’d get frustrated as the service was pretty slow. We were quite happy as...More

Can't beat the location. Beer good as you'd hope from a Brains establishment. Service a bit on the slow side and a wait to eat, though end of Sept so not overly busy. Buttermilk chicken, salmon hollandaise, prawn tian all excellent. Wild boar burger, fnc,...More

We came just for one night, midweek in October, and much later than we had anticipated at 7:45pm. We were greeted by a very cheerful and pleasant lady and shown to a smart, very clean and quite large room with a big bathroom, overlooking the...More

Visited the Ship Inn this weekend with high expectations but sadly the service was poor and extremely slow, the food was mediocre and the prices sky high! Captive audience syndrome and lacklustre staff make a bad combination. Poor show guys.

What a delight it was to dine at the Ship Inn, lovely food, excellent service and very polite enthusiastic staff, just a pity we only discovered this gem the evening before we went home otherwise we would of had no hesitation of dining there several...More

Four of us dined here during our stay in Aberporth. We all ordered different dishes and they were all just as delicious, from fish pie to the perfect sirloin steak. Service with a smile, pleasant surroundings and a sea view to top it off.

After a lovely meal a few weeks ago, I visited again today with friends. Was embarrassed at the standard of the service we received and the food was average. Staff loitering around and were completely disinterested in the customers. Told the waitress specifically we didn't...More

Hi Diane Yes we are indeed dog friendly. We allow dogs in the bar area where you are more than welcome to eat and also on our terrace. Many thanks

My wife can not eat gluten and the Ship Inn caters for this. I'm sure they say (either on the menu or at the bar) to ask about dietary requirements.
