On a saturday noon we took the lunch and have to say it was delicious (starter + main dish). The lunch menu was delicious and not too expensive (26euro/pp). Unfortunately this place is clearly not a 'hidden' gem, since the place was crowded and quite noisy. With a lunch of only two plates, it still took more than 2 hours... More

When I entered the reataurant around 11:30 , a chef had not yet shown up ,I had to wait for his coming since its actual open time is after 12:00. I sipped at my beer resting my legs after hours walks around Bruges. Lunch menu they had was in a very good price. they served mussels and beef steak (its... More

We had both the lunch specials and a few a la carte dishes (most with some sort of seafood as part of the diwsh) and they were all very tasty. Portion sizes were just right. Their beer and wine list are fairly short, but they were perfect for the lunch menu. Try to get a seat in the garden!

"Den Heerd" means "the fireplace" and it is very cosy sitting near the burning fire! While we waited, we ordered a bottle of nice Spanish wine (around 30 euro) and received a small plate with some goodies. First we enjoyed a plate called spaghetti al vongola, carefully prepared and very tasty. Main course: perfectly baked brill, sort of small turbot;... More

Just had Christmas lunch. Four courses with wine and coffee, excellent food, congenial surroundings, and wonderful service at a very reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone

We visited with a family of 6 adults. Nice interior and beautiful garden/terrace in the back. Food and service was excellent. We made a reservation same evening for next month!

We went here with some customers for lunch. It is a nice restaurant in the city centre, with a calm and nice garden. we had a main, i went for the steak. Excellent meat, nice dressing. Only, for the beer, nrugse zot, they asked 5 euro, which is exaggerated. Therefore, 4/5 instead of 5/5

The restaurant is located in the hotel Montanus. You have to find your own way to the dining room which is located at the rear of the hotel, as you pass a narrow hallway by the open kitchen. The awkward look we received from the chef should have forwarned us that maybe we should have come another evening. The dining... More

I had visited this restaurant several times when it was based in Damme, before moving to Bruges, and wondered if it had kept its quality. I was not disappointed. The meal from start to end was a fantastic culinary experience, starting with some free pre-dinner tasters, then into a meal which brought flavours bursting forth. Service was impeccable, and despite... More

Excellent value fixed menu. Generous portions. Modern and luxurious surroundings. French style cooking. Friendly staff. Nice outside seating area. Out of town centre but easy to get to on foot from centre and station.Worth going to for business or pleasure.
