We were told to head away from the centre of Bruges to find somewhere more reasonably priced. Using Tripadvisor we found this place. It's a stpe back in time...to a proper pub. Great bear, have the house beer, it's very good. The food is average..seems...More

We were recommended this place by a local waiter and were not disappointed. The oldest tavern in Bruges dating from 1515, and off the tourist path, about 15 minutes walk from the main square down a cobbled street. We went at lunch time at it...More

This is the sort of place we like - lots of history, good food and beer - and reasonably priced. Sadly, no traditional stew in the summer but what they have is tasty and filling. There's plenty of space outside if it's a sunny day.

There is so much to see around the centre of Bruges, but a visit to the St Anne's quarter and this wonderful old bar is a must. Take the time to walk out to this beautiful area and stop off for a drink here. The...More

This place is hidden in Brugge! It was an unexpected surprise. The weather was nice so we have a sit outside enjoying the local beer and quiche!

Lovely style and excellent local beer. Oldest pub in Bruges. Simple and tasty dishes, but not for a fancy meal. Service was good. It has a very nice terrace for sunny days, although we prefer the interior, it is quite unique.

The outside beer garden is a lovely spot to eat and drink, even though unfortunately for us the weather didn't hold up! I enjoyed their house beer and the food looked and smelled great although I didn't eat so I can't comment on that..
