This is one of the few visually pleasant places that you can escape to in Brussels on a Sunday. The scarcity of alternatives determines the monopoly they enjoy as well as the criws of desperate revellers they attract. The prices would be justified if the food was anywhere close to what you can get at La Tour D'Argent or Hutong.... More

Cook & Book is a great place to browse. Very good selection of books (both French and English). And good for buying presents (gimmicky designer gadgets). The English section is great. Just looking around and seeing Paddington Bear's little face, a Fortnum&Mason's cookbook and those orange penguin tote bags makes a Brit feel instantly at home. The food and service... More

Amazing book store/comic book store/ restaurant! The food was great and the atmosphere even better. The waitress and hostess were great from the start and the place is unbelievable! A must try!

I love the place, I buy most of my books here. But I don't really like the food, it's nothing special and it's expensive. It is a great place for the summer though. They have a lot of tables outside and outdoor movie nights during the summer which is a lot of fun.

First Time i got there, i waited for ages to be served and almost missed the play we booked at the theatre next to the restaurant. Food was correct but too expensive. This Time, we waited 30min and nobody came. We left. So did other people. Please hire a staff with real horeca experience!

We had not been to Brunch here for a couple of years but always remembered a great long table of different meats, fish, eggs, cheeses, fruits, cakes, pies, etc. Complete opposite now, with a poor selection. Enough has been written about the poor service, which is completely true. From the moment you arrive until you pay, you're pretty much ignored... More

We have been here for brunch a couple of times and indeed their buffet menu is well diversified and delicious. During spring/"summer" the terrace is also and excellent idea! Worth the try!

As the name suggests the restaurant is a book shop plus a restaurant. There are different seating area around the book shop and the overall look of the restaurant is great. The food is amazing and they do great desserts as well.

The place is stylish, it is a concept restaurant. It is not once but twice, I had very bad treatment from a male and female waiter. It is a place I would not recommend to anyone. Food is nothing special. Morning menu looks got but they never have anything on the menu. Go to look at books but not to... More

Most Belgians and expats in Brussels love this place. They are enthusiastic about the concept of a bookstore where they serve food/drinks. If it wasn't that it is a really old concept with many good places around the world. This is not one of them. I have been there twice for brunch, always dragged by friends, Service (usually bad or...
