Set this place as a part of you day travel itinerary in Brussels! Really worth to wait in the queue for a few minutes, because you get unique paper cup with fries and you can choose a variety of sauces!!

One of the more famous take-away frites institutions in Brussels, where German Chancellor Merkel queued for chips in 2015. I had a delicious large serving for about €3, served in a cornetto-shaped paper cup. They offer all sorts of accompanying sauces but my serving was fine with just salt. There's often a queue, but after the lunchtime rush on a... More

We ate a few frites shops in Brussels and this was our favorite. We went on a weekday around noon and we didn't have to queue for more than 5 minutes. The frites were fresh and crispy with a creamy inside. There's nothing better than eating a cone of frites on a cold day. Also, all the bars across the... More

Can anyone tell me why there is buzz about this place? After a 40 minute wait in line, the fries were solidly mediocre.

Definitely have to try the famous belgian fries at place jourdan! Do't forget to ask for a sauce. The homemade 'tartar' is my favourite!

I have never quite understood why so much fuss is being made about Friterie Antoine. It’s just a chips stand like many others in Brussels. Apart from its location on Place Jourdan in the European quarter and the fact that neighbourhood cafes allow customers to eat their chips while having a drink, there is nothing to commend it. Traditional chips... More

The place is located in the centre of Brussel. It’s actually a take away. But if you like French Fries, there you get the best ones in town. The place is so famous that the bars and cafes net to it allow to bring the fries to their place.

Lovely chips, but we waited for around 1 hour - and the chips were nice, but I would not wait an hour again. Portions are generous though! This was a Sunday afternoon.

...to come and enjoy the real belgian (wrongfully called french) fries at maison antoine Forget about the fake (frozen) french fries shops downtown; The possibilty to enjoy your fries with a draft beer on one of the terraces of the local pubs who invite you to enjoy your maison antoine fries ! is a true revelation
