We found this place just by chance, searching in TripAdvisor where to dine yesterday evening and it was a good choice. It's a small and cosy brasserie just behind the Grand Place; the staff is nice and the food (we had l'onglet de boef with fries ) was great! I suggest the Aperitif de la maison and the stoemp of... This is a true hidden jewel in Brussels! My sister and I just came back from dining here and we're truly impressed by Abrussel's homey, and relaxed atmosphere and incredible food. We were served by an absolutely gorgeous guy with a great smile that gave us wonderful recommendations on the menu. He made it so that we were already very... More

We visited on a weekday evening around 8pm with no reservation since we did not find them on theforks. We were only a party of two and were immediately offered the table just inside this small restaurant so we accepted happy to be seated. It was only later that I realized there was additional seating upstairs which for me would... More

Friends of ours recommended this resturant and said that we were in for a treat! They were 100% correct...the service was great and food out of this world. I would recommend this resturant for a nice evening out...mid-priced, great food, and excellent service!

Four of us went for dinner, just wandered by and thought the menu looked good. As it turned out, it was more than good - it was marvelous! Everyone had something different and the raves were consistent. So nice that the dishes were so Belgian! Had the feeling that this is the way "Grandmother" made everything, assuming that Grandmother was... More

Abrussel is an amazing restaurant! It is small and cozy. The service was outstanding and the mussels were very good. We were two couples traveling together and we loved it!

But sometimes you dont always want a huge choice. Stew brilliant (Although chips were standard), Falafel great too. Very small restaurant so you may have trouble getting in.

9pm in Brussels and looking for a place to eat around the Grand Place area. Luckily Abrussel was open and had a table or two. You pays your money and you takes your chance as they say. Well this was fine. A good tummy filler on a cold night in Brussels! Good food. Choice of beer and wine and a... More

On new years day myself and seven friends visited Abrussel. On first inspection it's was quite a small place. The majority of our table ordered steak, but there was a problem when they arrived as all of the sauces were mixed up. So we had to figure out who's was who's. Every steak that was served was extremely rare and... More
