The service is often not agreable. For brunch, I had to ask a plate for the croissants, and later we were waiting for forks and knifes for at least 10 minutes. The salads are often without taste. Some cakes are very dry to my taste.

Service is sometimes very good, most of the times awful. Very sassy-mouthed, young, artsy ad angsty people employed makes for an interesting environment and customer service. Food is good, mostly sandwiches, salads, cakes etc. But completely overpriced.

I have gone to this Cafe several times Solo. Today I went to this Cafe Solo on avenue Louise for a coffee break. It's one of those quirky places with worn mismatched tables and chairs designed to be cosy. Newspapers and magazines are available to be read on premises. They also offer complimentary wifi. One can purchase soups, salads, cakes,... More

I like the vibe, the cakes, the coffee, the mood of the place. Lovely on Saturday mornings, when it is relatively empty. Perfect to chill. Otherwise yes, crowded. Like good places normally are

I wasn't impressed with my visit last time, so came back again AFTER 1 year, things have gotten only worse. Bad service, dirty tables, cheapest possible quality coffee, but now they have also replaced shugar with something unbearable, whatever that was, I don't think I'll be coming there again.

Café de la Presse wants to be grown up quirky hipster with good coffee. Unfortunately, service, place (far too crowded with Uninviting people) and - did I mention service?: sooooo bad! Won't be coming back here which is a pity: there is appetite for a good coffee place in the 'Quartier' - just a pity this one isn't trying hard... More

It's my local coffee shop, so I've been there many times. They could do with slightly better quality coffee. Also, on weekends, forget it - the queue is usually huge, and there's no guarantee of a free table at the end of it. You can book for brunch though. Brunch is very nice indeed and so is the food generally,... More

Well worth a visit if you are craving good coffee and are not in a hurry. It is a nice place to sit and relax and the coffee as well as other things are very good. But the service is very relaxed too, with staff that probably just haven't had any training.

This place used to be a nice place for a good cup of coffee in the morning before starting to work.. but for some reason its all going downhill ! Ice-Tea's are without any taste at all, the icecube's keep's the thing fresh but the taste is nowhere to be seen or tasted. The white chocolat double coffee... i think... More

The service is not good at all. Waitress are not client-oriented. The coffee and the muffins and cakes are delicious, a bit expensive though... The place is good to go and work as freelance (with several sockets) although when it becames dark, there is no light enough.
